Tertiary Aim
Evaluate the effect of tamoxifen withdrawal on bone and to determine if exemestane has any additional effects on the rate of bone loss resulting from tamoxifen withdrawal. (Height, serum alkaline phosphatase and fracture history will be monitored).
216 patients will be evaluated more closely with bone mineral density and bone biochemical marker testing.
Evaluate the effect of exemestane on blood lipids before, during and after the completion of therapy.
