PURPOSE

Determine if oral administration of exemestane, for 2 years, in postmenopausal (ER+ and/or PR+) breast cancer (T1-3, N0-1,M0), who have completed 5 years of tamoxifen therapy, will prolong disease-free survival when compared with placebo.
